Consider me a lifeline—here to support you and your child through the struggles, the breakthroughs, and everything in between.
I know you’re likely here because you’re exhausted like you’ve done everything you can to help your child with no progress or solution in sight. Maybe they’re struggling at school, feeling isolated from friends, or battling overwhelming emotions that seem impossible to calm. As a parent, you’re constantly questioning: “What am I missing?”
I get it. As a parent myself, I’ve seen firsthand how heartbreaking and isolating it can feel when your child isn’t thriving—when the endless school meetings or tantrums seem to pile up and you’re looking at all the other parents and wondering how they’re doing “just fine.” It’s hard not to feel like you’re failing. But I want you to know: you’re not failing. You’re doing the best you can in a challenging situation. And there’s help.
At the heart of my work is a deep belief that every child has unique strengths and potential. But sometimes, they just need a little extra support to express themselves, understand their emotions, and navigate the world around them. That’s where I come in.
I work with children, teens, and parents to unravel the confusion, the frustration, and the heartache. When your child is struggling, it doesn’t just affect them—it impacts your entire family. I’ll be your guide through this, offering a space to breathe and helping you and your child rebuild the connection you both need.
Here, we’ll explore what’s happening beneath the surface—anxiety, ADHD, school stress, or difficult emotions—and create a unique plan that works for your family. With the right tools, we can help your child understand their feelings, improve relationships, and develop the skills they need to thrive at home, at school, and beyond.
In therapy with me, we don’t just focus on “fixing behavior” or telling you how to manage the next inevitable meltdown.
We’ll dive deeper—getting to the root of what’s really going on for your child emotionally and helping you understand how to support them for the long term.
I use a combination of proven, evidence-based approaches like CBT, DBT, and ACT, coupled with art, play, and interactive activities, to help your child express what they can’t put into words. I also use Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) to strengthen your relationship and Somatic Experiencing (SE) and Brainspotting to help both you and your child regulate emotions from the inside out.
As a mom of four kids myself, I understand firsthand the complexities of parenting and how overwhelming it can feel when your child is struggling. With three decades of experience in education and child and teen wellness, I’ve helped countless parents navigate their children’s anxiety and other challenges. I’m also deeply informed by the latest cutting-edge research on treating child anxiety, including innovative methods designed to enhance traditional therapy.
As a parent, you’re not on your own in this. I’m passionate about helping parents feel seen and supported because parenting is hard, and you deserve guidance that feels like a true partnership. You can feel comfortable showing up with your own frustrations or disappointments, knowing I’m not here to judge and will truly understand what you’re feeling. No matter the challenge, I’m ready to help your family find the clarity and healing you’re searching for.
I hold a Master’s in Social Work, a Master’s in Special Education, and a Master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis, which together provide me with a holistic understanding of children’s needs. This foundation allows me to bring evidence-based methods to support your family’s path toward healing and growth.
