IN-PERSON & ONLINE PARENTING THERAPY | NORTH HOLLYWOOD & ACROSS CA, UT, FL, SC & VT
What you’re feeling as a parent is REAL, but there is a path forward—we’re here to help.
Gain confidence in your ability to love, encourage, and help your child.
Being the parent of a highly sensitive or reactive child is anything but easy. You keep thinking, “There has to be a better way.” Right?
You might be here because you:
Feel like no matter what you do, you’re always missing the mark and falling short as a parent
Know your child is incredibly bright, but when it comes to expressing feelings or needs, every conversation ends in a meltdown.
Have a child who refuses to listen, stomps off to their room, and the night ends with them not eating, talking, or moving on—and you’re both in tears
You feel overwhelmed by conflicting advice from professionals, leaving you unsure of what’s right for your child, and all you want is to feel confident in the decisions you’re making
Feel like you’ve tried everything, but nothing works and you're stuck in a never-ending cycle of frustration
Drop-offs are a nightmare, and by the time you get home, you're in tears, feeling guilty and angry, and your whole day feels like it’s on hold
Walking on eggshells, never knowing when the next emotional outburst will happen, and constantly second-guessing if you're doing the right thing.
Just want your child to be happy at school, to be that fun, engaged, curious kid again—and instead, every day feels like a struggle.
Overwhelmed is an understatement.
It’s completely understandable to feel drained, lost, and at your wit’s end when it seems like nothing is working. But you’ve come to the right place. We’re trained to help you dig into what makes your child tick, so you can better understand their emotions. As you learn more about your child’s unique needs and build new skills, you'll feel more confident and calm approaching their deep feelings and big behaviors.
Parenting is messy, but together we’ll make sure you and your child feel understood and supported—because you’re not broken and neither is your child.
HOW THERAPY FOR Parents WORKS
We know that being the parent of a child with big feelings can be especially taxing and even feel unfair at times. We get you—and we’re here to support you through it.
We believe the first step toward therapy that truly makes a difference begins with building a warm, trusting relationship with you, the parents. This is a space to feel safe, accepted, and comfortable to share openly—without judgment and sometimes with a sense of humor. (We’re human, too!)
Getting to know you and your family deeply is at the heart of what we do. By truly listening and understanding the daily struggles you face, we’ll work together to set meaningful goals—both short and long-term—that focus on your child’s needs now and in the future, all while strengthening the bond between you and your child.
It’s okay to feel overwhelmed and frustrated, especially if you find yourself surrounded by other parents who don’t get what you’re going through.
We know you love your child and want what’s best for them. But we also understand how difficult it can be to help them feel that love when you’re desperately trying to correct their behavior or avoid another emotional disaster.
In our work together, we’ll:
Provide psychoeducation to help you better understand your child’s unique nervous system, strengths, and challenges.
Emphasize the importance of accepting your child as they are now, while still holding space for their growth and change.
Teach you how to validate and nurture your relationship with your child while incorporating effective parenting skills that encourage healthy behavior.
We make a conscious effort to combine the latest research in interpersonal neurobiology and the nervous system with evidence-based approaches including SPACE, CBT, DBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and behavioral principles.
Why? Because understanding your child’s unique wiring leads to lasting, effective solutions—progress at school, deeper connection as a family, and the feeling of “thriving” rather than just surviving.
We can help you…
Create a calmer environment at home.
Understand your child’s emotions and how their brain works.
Encourage and support your child’s positive behaviors.
Learn to validate your child’s feelings (even when you don’t feel like it!).
See and accept your child as the valuable treasure they are right now.
Together,
We’ll take a closer look at the patterns in your relationship with your child—what’s working and what’s not.
The goal is to break the cycle of escalating reactions and create space for understanding, connection, and growth. It’s not about perfection but about making small, meaningful changes that bring you closer to the relationship you want—and can have—with your child.

You don’t have to navigate this alone—we’re here to help.

For parents of children with big feelings and big behaviors, we require at least 8 parent-only sessions before beginning therapy with your child. This allows you to fully support your child’s emotional growth and stay consistent and emotionally regulated throughout the process. You’ll also learn and practice the same skills your child will be learning, making sure they are reinforced at home.
